Our mission is to give our customers best-in-class DevOps services to manage their code, build and deployments within OCI. Were looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in building DevOps platforms for our customers. We want to make DevOps a pleasant experience for our customers As a Member of Technical Staff you will participate in design development of Oracles DevOps Services. You should be a rock solid coder and have passion to learn new technologies. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience with application development - Proficient at programming in Java, and one other major programming/scripting language like Python or Go Lang. - Strong distributed systems fundamentals - Bachelors in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields Preferred Qualifications: - Strong distributed systems fundamentals - Terraform experience - Prior development experience with DevOps in a Public Cloud (like AWS, Azure or GCP) tools or services - Masters degree in Computer Science Career Level - IC2 Responsibilities As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
