Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the specified standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with various teams to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, while also documenting processes and configurations for future reference. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and functionality of the software systems in use. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Document configuration processes and changes to maintain a clear record of modifications and enhancements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Strong understanding of software configuration management principles and practices. - Experience with version control systems and tools. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues effectively. - Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
