Software Architect

This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic influence. You’ll define core abstractions, scale systems across environments, and enable a world-class team of engineers to build on top of the foundation you lay.

What You’ll Own

• Architect scalable AI systems—from data ingestion and orchestration to model inference and observability
• Design and evolve the platform’s agentic core: integrate models, tools, reasoning engines, and feedback loops
• Build clean, reusable APIs and frameworks that product and clinical teams can rely on
• Work across the product lifecycle: from user needs and hospital feedback to iteration and deployment
• Mentor engineers, enforce high standards, and navigate tough technical trade-offs in a startup environment

What You Bring

• 5+ years leading the design of complex, mission-critical systems at scale
• Strong experience with 

  LLM-based or agent-driven architectures

  , especially in secure, compliance-bound environments
• Proven ability to set technical direction 

  while staying hands-on

   with architecture, code, and reviews
• Depth in backend infrastructure: cloud-native systems, data pipelines, deployment workflows, monitoring
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and mentoring skills
• A degree in computer science or a related field

• Bonus:

   Experience training or fine-tuning custom AI models
