Soft Skills Trainer

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Soft Skills Trainer (preferably a lady) to work with youth enrolled in our Skill Development Centre as well as children in our REAP community centres. The trainer will be responsible for equipping students with essential communication, personality development, and life skills that prepare them for the workplace and for life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging sessions on spoken and trade English, workplace etiquette, grooming, and customer interaction.
• Train students in interview preparation, resume building, confidence building, and public speaking.
• Develop and deliver soft skill modules tailored to both young adults (skill trainees) and children (slum centres).
• Design activities, role-plays, and group discussions to enhance communication and teamwork.
• Work closely with the skill development team to integrate soft skills with vocational training.
• Mentor students individually where needed, especially those preparing for employment.
• Track student progress and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate / Postgraduate in English, Communication, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in soft skills training, personality development, or English communication training.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to engage with youth and children from underprivileged backgrounds.
• Creative, empathetic, and patient teaching style.
• Prior experience in the hospitality sector or with vocational training is an advantage.

• Female professional with relevant experience.
• Passionate about working with marginalized communities and helping youth build brighter futures.

Compensation

• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
