Program: CCA | Powered by HCLTech – Career Shaper Program

Location: Puducherry

Work Type: Full-time

Reports To: Program Operations & Technical Head – CCA

Role Overview:

As part of the HCLTech Career Shaper Program under Careercraft Academy (CCA), the CorporateSkills Trainer will be responsible for delivering structured, high-quality non-technical trainingmodules. The core focus will be on strengthening learners' communication abilities, interviewpreparedness, soft skills, and aptitude.

Communication plays a central role in this position, as the trainer will guide students in articulatingtheir ideas confidently, presenting themselves professionally, and engaging effectively in bothacademic and workplace settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional training sessions focused on: -

Communication Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication, email and presentationetiquette, articulation, and public speaking

Interview Readiness: Resume writing, HR and technical mock interviews, group discussions,self-introduction techniques

Soft Skills: Workplace behavior, collaboration, time and stress management, confidencebuilding

Aptitude: Fundamentals of logical reasoning, numerical ability, and analytical thinking• Create learner engagement through real-time simulations, role-plays, mock interviews, andinteractive formats

  • Customize training delivery based on learner needs, institutional context, and program structure
  • Liaise with institutional placement cells and faculty coordinators to align training outcomes withindustry expectations
  • Monitor learner performance, maintain session records, attendance, and feedback reports
  • Ensure training quality and adherence to CCA-HCL academic standards and branding

Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline
  • Certification in soft skills training, communication, or behavioral skills preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in delivering non-technical training programs
  • Strong command over English; fluency in regional language is an added advantage
  • Excellent facilitation skills, classroom presence, and ability to engage diverse learners
  • Proficient in digital tools such as Zoom/Google Meet, MS Office, and other edtech platforms
  • Professional demeanor and alignment with CCA-HCL brand of delivery
