Position - Social Officer- Community Development Qualification- Masters in Social Work (Full-Time) from a recognized university with a specialization in Community Development or similar Experience- 2 -5 years Location - Thiruvananthapuram Desired Skills Excellent communication, coordination and analytical skill Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with the larger team Administratively self-supporting Planning and Organising skills Ability to work flexibly (with tact and diplomacy) Excellent written and oral English language skills Excellent computer skills in e-Mail, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point etc Technologically literate Job Profile · Design and administer awareness programs on palliative care in the community · Responsible for developing strong student volunteer base & coordinate Students Initiative in Palliative Care · Administer the use of print & visual media for promoting the organisation and support fund raising programmes/ events. · Coordinate the rehabilitation procedure for the beneficiaries & conduct patient development/empowering programmes · Responsible for community & volunteer mobilisation by developing and implementing various programmes/assignments. · Conduct Link centre meetings & review the activities and submit reports for review periodically. · Participate in Model Palliative Care Panchayat Project (MPCP) at different levels & liaison with Local Self-government, Primary Health Centre, Kudumbasree, local groups, to do social mapping, and resource mapping etc. · Administer & conduct various training programmes as faculty Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Master's (Required) Experience: Community Development: 2 years (Required)
