Social Media Specialist

Develop and implement a social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, video, reels, stories). Collaborate with content creators, designers, and video editors to plan content calendars. Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and platform updates to ensure timely and relevant content. Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Track KPIs (followers, engagement rate, reach, impressions, CTR, etc.) and prepare performance reports. Plan and execute paid social media campaigns (if applicable). Work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency. Identify and collaborate with influencers or brand ambassadors when needed. Requirements: 1–3 years of experience in managing social media platforms (more for managerial roles). Strong knowledge of social media tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Canva, etc. Excellent communication and copywriting skills. Ability to create basic visual content using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or mobile apps. Analytical mindset and experience with platform analytics (Meta Insights, Instagram Analytics, etc.). Creative, proactive, and up to date with current social and digital trends. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field. Experience in a specific niche (e.g., fashion, food, tech, fitness, B2B, etc.). Experience in running and optimising paid campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.). Basic video editing or reel creation skills are a plus.
