Position Summary: The Social Media & PR Intern will play a key role in supporting our marketing team by managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and assisting with PR outreach. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the design industry and build their portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create, curate, and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Engage with followers, respond to comments, and monitor conversations to build community.
• Conduct research on current trends and incorporate them into social media content.
• Support PR initiatives, including drafting press releases, reaching out to media contacts, and organizing press kits.
• Track social media and PR metrics to analyze campaign performance.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing team on visual assets, ensuring brand consistency.
• Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking with an eye for design and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar.
• Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Instagram Insights) is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for the design industry and a proactive attitude.
