Social Media Marketing Specialist

A Social media platform specialist with hands on experience in managing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube & LinkedIn. Manage presence on social networking sites and their day to day activities. Monitor the company's social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.

Social Media

1. Develop the overall approach (In-organic (paid), Organic (user generated) and Hybrid) for the brands presence across various social media platforms with the objective to increase brand visibility, build and increase engagement.
2. Has a proven track record that displays a strong creative mindset both in terms of online media and content approach
3. Use the platform to connect with the brands target audience amongst consumers and advisors.
4. Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
5. Liaise with internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external agencies such as the Web Design Agency, Branding Agency, PR Agency & SEO Agency
6. Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
7. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
8. Find connect with bloggers, forums, and influencers to work with and lead the outreach program with influencers regularly.
9. Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams.

Monitoring

1. Develop benchmark metrics to measure the results of social media programs
2. Analyze and evaluate social media campaigns and strategies
3. Report on effectiveness of campaigns
4. Monitor trends in social media
5. Monitor the activities of main competitors in social media
6. Monitor social space for brand and related topics and conversations
7. Understand how the social media impacts website traffic
8. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
9. Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.

ORM

1. Manage reporting on a monthly basis
2. Participate in crisis communication as per business requirements
3. Monitor and respond to online reviews, including negative review tracking and follow ups.
4. Manage business listings on Google My Business
5. Manage and update Online Reputation Management resource library.
6. Work with the service / grievance team for Online Reputation to address any issues with review sites.
7. Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the reputation-monitoring program, in conjunction with Listening tool.
8. Very important to know and Use Social media & ORM tools such as Locobuzz, Hoot suite, Simplify 360 etc
9. Create weekly social media program status reports detailing key insights, popular content topics, community quotes and monitoring results; work with platform analytics / listening tool and prepare business metrics & sentiment reports.

Work Experience:

• 5+ years of managing hands on Social media platforms. Experience in BFSI / Insurance sector would be added advantage.
• Experience using social media analytics tools and the ability to tweak marketing strategies based on findings.
• Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
• Ability to create cutting-edge social media and digital marketing content & proofreading ability
• Experience with social advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube
• Experience of managing website content will be added advantage.

• Certifications

  : Google certification / Digital Marketing certification preferred
