Role Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our Social Media Head to manage and post content across FandomWire’s dedicated pages. You should have a strong interest in the kind of content we cover (Hollywood entertainment, anime, and gaming), an eye for trending topics, and basic design skills on Canva

Key Responsibilities

• Post and manage content across FandomWire’s official

  social media platforms

  (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.) as directed by the Social Media Head.
• Keep up with the

  latest trends, memes, and conversations

  in Hollywood entertainment, anime, and gaming to make content more engaging.
• Assist in

  scheduling posts

  , ensuring content goes live on time and consistently.
• Create

  basic social media creatives using Canva

  when required (a design team is available for advanced work).
• Monitor engagement, share audience insights, and suggest trending content ideas.
• Coordinate with the Social Media Head and Content Team to align posts with campaigns, launches, and publishing schedules.

Requirements

• Strong passion for

  entertainment, anime, and gaming culture

  .
• Basic understanding of

  social media platforms

  and how posting, scheduling, and engagement work.
• Basic design skills in

  Canva

  (ability to create simple posts if required).
• Ability to follow instructions, work under deadlines, and stay consistent with posting.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience managing or interning on

  social media accounts/pages

  .
• Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and audience engagement strategies.

Work Details

• Internship Duration:

  6 months minimum

• Schedule: 6 days a week, fixed Sunday off

• Type: Paid Internship

• Reporting: Social Media Head
