Role & responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business growth. This role involves managing day-to-day content creation, community engagement, analytics, and cross-platform campaign planning to ensure consistent brand communication across all social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.

Plan monthly content calendars for all social platforms.

Identify current trends, audience insights, and opportunities for brand growth.

Content Creation & Management

Create, edit, and publish engaging content (images, videos, copy, reels, stories, etc.).

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.

Collaborate with designers, photographers, and marketing teams for high-quality content.

Community Engagement

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and user interactions.

Manage online reputation and escalate critical issues when needed.

Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and partners.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions.

Analyze social media performance and prepare monthly reports.

Adjust strategies based on insights and platform algorithm changes.

Campaigns & Collaboration

Plan and execute social media campaigns for product launches, events, and promotions.

Collaborate with marketing, PR, and sales teams to support business objectives.

Coordinate influencer partnerships and user-generated content campaigns.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.

2–5 years of experience managing social media platforms professionally.

Strong understanding of social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, etc.

Proficiency with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.

Excellent written and visual storytelling skills.

Ability to analyze data and convert insights into actionable strategies.

Strong time-management and project-management skills
