Job Description

Social Media Manager

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute

    organic social media strategies

    tailored to each platform.
  • Lead

    content strategy and planning

    : build monthly/quarterly calendars aligned with campaigns and brand goals.
  • Create, oversee, and optimize

    high-quality content

    (posts, reels, stories, carousels, videos, threads, infographics, etc.).
  • Drive

    organic growth in views, impressions, and engagement

    across platforms.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to deliver consistent, compelling content.
  • Manage the

    end-to-end content process

    : ideation planning creation scheduling optimization.
  • Actively engage with communities: respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and participate in groups/forums.
  • Monitor social media trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activity to refine strategy.
  • Track KPIs (views, reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth) and report insights with recommendations.
  • Ensure

    brand tone, messaging, and compliance

    across all social platforms.

  • Experience in

    Reddit community building

    and LinkedIn thought-leadership content.
  • Knowledge of

    SEO, blogs, and content integration

  • Ability to identify and leverage trends, hashtags, and viral formats to maximize

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 5

    + years of proven experience

    in social media management focused on

    organic growth

  • Strong expertise in

    content strategy, planning, and creation

    .
  • Proven ability to

    increase organic views, engagement, and community reach

    .
  • Skilled with

    social media scheduling and analytics tools

    (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with creative flair.
  • Basic design/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to optimize based on data.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
