Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy & Content Creation: • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the brands PR and communication goals. • Create and manage engaging content across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and voice. • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, and best practices, and adapt strategies accordingly. • Monetizing YouTube channel. Public Relations & Communications: • Collaborate with PR teams to craft messaging, manage media inquiries, and ensure consistent communication across all channels. • Assist in drafting press releases, speeches, and other public-facing communication materials. • Coordinate with influencers, media outlets, and stakeholders to drive brand awareness and enhance the companys public image. • Manage crisis communication and respond to inquiries or issues on social media in a timely and professional manner. Community Engagement & Brand Monitoring: • Build and nurture online communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and managing direct interactions. • Monitor social media channels for mentions of the brand, tracking public perception and sentiment. • Analyse social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Campaign Execution & Analytics: • Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and partnerships to boost brand visibility. • Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to produce high-quality visuals and messages. • Track and report on social media and PR campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights to improve future campaigns. Stakeholder Management: • Act as the point of contact for all PR and communication-related inquiries via social media. • Maintain a positive public image through consistent and strategic communication efforts. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management, public relations, or communications. • Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content and manage multiple social media platforms. • Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail. • Experience with media relations, influencer marketing, and managing external partnerships. • Ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable insights. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. • Knowledge of social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics). • Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis communications effectively. • A proactive approach, always looking for new ways to elevate the brand's social media presence and reputation.
