Internship Opportunity at Bharatiya Academy Trust - Cuttack

We’re seeking creative and motivated interns to join our dynamic team in Cuttack, Odisha, for an enriching internship with a good monthly stipend and flexible work hours. Key Responsibilities:

• Documentary Storytelling: Research, script, and produce one compelling documentary-style story per week, focusing on impactful narratives that align with our mission.
• Project Applications: Identify and apply for at least one relevant project, grant, or collaboration opportunity weekly to support organizational growth.

• Bookkeeping Support: Assist with financial record-keeping, budget tracking, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

• Digital Presence Building: Contribute to our online platforms by managing social media, updating website content, and creating engaging posts to enhance visibility.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in any discipline.
Preference for candidates with an MA (or pursuing) in English, Journalism, Social Sciences, Media Studies, or MSW.Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, Google Workspace, and familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Canva, social media platforms, or basic video editing software like Adobe Premiere or iMovie).Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Eligibility:
Open to enthusiastic individuals passionate about learning, storytelling, and contributing to impactful projects.Candidates must be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.Prior experience in content creation, research, or bookkeeping is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided.Must be available to work from Cuttack, with potential for hybrid arrangements based on mutual agreement.
