Social Media Intern - 6 months

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. You will play a key role in building our digital presence by creating engaging content, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, and bringing The Tamarind Tree’s story to life through reels, posts, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Capture and edit engaging Reels and Stories during events, walkthroughs, and day-to-day activities.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute campaign ideas and content calendars.
• Edit photos and videos for posts, stories, and ads using tools like InShot, Canva, or Adobe Suite.
• Stay on top of trends, audios, and creative formats to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Monitor social media engagement and suggest ways to improve performance.
• Assist in coordinating shoots, managing content libraries, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms.

Requirements:

• Passion for social media, storytelling, and content creation.
• Strong skills in mobile videography and editing (especially reels and stories).
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and basic analytics tools.
• Proficiency in video/photo editing apps (CapCut, InShot, Lightroom, Canva, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Ability to work on-site, especially during events or shoots.
• A background in media, communications, marketing, or design is a plus.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

• Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
