Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and data-driven Social Media Executive to manage citizen engagement across our official digital platforms. You will be responsible for routing support requests, tracking performance, identifying digital trends, evolving campaign strategies, and ensuring brand consistency and compliance with communication guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Helpdesk:

Direct citizen complaints and queries received via social media to the appropriate Helpdesk or operational teams for timely resolution.

  • Track Platform Metrics:

Monitor key performance indicators—reach, engagement, follower growth, and sentiment—and compile insights to inform strategic decisions.

  • Identify Digital Trends & Shape Campaigns:

Stay abreast of current social media trends, algorithm shifts, and content formats to propose relevant and innovative campaign strategies.

  • Ensure Brand Consistency & Compliance:

Enforce alignment with brand voice and communication guidelines across all social media posts and interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management or integral digital communications roles.
  • Demonstrated ability in using analytics and social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) to derive actionable insights.
  • Strong written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, citizen-facing messaging.
  • Strategic thinker, able to both leverage trends and align messaging with organizational goals.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintaining consistency across platforms.
  • Familiarity with brand governance or public-sector communication protocols is a plus.
