Role Description

We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media Manager to lead the content and engagement strategy and execution for our own social media handles (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). From memes to moment marketing, creator collabs to carousel posts — you’ll be the voice, vibe, and vision of Urbanfluence online.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all Urbanfluence social media platforms (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts).

• Develop and execute monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, creator launches, and brand milestones.

• Write engaging copy/captions in line with our brand tone — casual, witty, and crisp.

• Collaborate with in-house design/video teams to create reels, stories, carousels, and viral short-form content.

• Track platform insights, suggest content experiments, and adapt strategy based on performance.

• Stay updated on trends, creator drama, meme culture, and digital-first moments — and jump on them fast.

• Respond to DMs, comments, and queries (community management).

• Collaborate with PR teams to ensure content cross-promotions.

• Occasionally support influencer content amplification when required.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in managing brand social media pages (agency or creator-side preferred).

• Strong sense of aesthetics, tone, and what works on IG/LinkedIn.

• Comfortable using tools like Canva, Later, Buffer, Meta Suite, etc.

• Basic video editing knowledge (Filmora/CapCut/InShot) is a plus.

• Memes, reels, and captions are your second language.

• Ability to multitask, manage content timelines, and work in a fast-paced, creator-driven environment.
