Role Summary:

video-first social media content creator

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn clips)
• Work closely with the team to create founder-centric, startup-relevant content
• Stay on top of social media trends, audio trends, formats, and viral hooks
• Edit using tools like

  Adobe Premiere

  , or similar
• Assist in building 16VC’s brand presence across platforms via video
• Capture behind-the-scenes content at events, meetings, or shoot days

You Are:

• Obsessed with Reels, TikToks, Shorts — and know what’s trending this week
• Handy with a camera (phone or DSLR) and basic lighting/audio setups
• Proficient in video editing and content optimization for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn
• A strong visual storyteller with an eye for framing, timing, and aesthetics
• Comfortable taking initiative, experimenting, and working fast
• Based in Bangalore and available to work
