SOC Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SOC Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents within our environment. You will work closely with other security and IT teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
• Perform initial triage and investigation of potential security incidents.
• Escalate and coordinate incident response efforts with relevant teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend remediation steps.
• Maintain and update incident response playbooks and procedures.
• Assist in threat hunting and vulnerability assessments.
• Generate reports and dashboards for security metrics and incident trends.
• Stay updated with the latest threat intelligence and security trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity role.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
• Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and incident response lifecycle.
• Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
