SOC Analyst

Looking for a SOC Analyst to work in 24x7 support environment

As the Information Security Analyst, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following:

• Security Event Incident Monitoring (SIEM) Tool Experience (Prefer Alert Logic Experience)


• Monthly Validations/Real Time Monitoring Network for potential threats while growing our living documentation


• Research & Remediate Monthly Vulnerability Scans


• Access Control Review Experience (Require Matrix Management of other teams)


• Participate in Annual Penetration Testing (Includes Action Items & Remediation)


• Research & Remediate Quarterly Phishing Exercise (Includes Monthly Parent Company Phishing Exercises)


• Advanced Documentation Skills (Creation & Edits with little Supervision, Mapping Exercises, Understand & Ensure Adherence to Parent Company Policy/Procedure)


• Participate in IT/Security Audit Due Diligence (Internal & External to our Company) regarding exams and documentation combined


• Participate in ServiceMac Information Technology Policy updates related to Information Security


• Participate in IT Disaster Recovery Q1 Tabletop & Q3 Actual Exercise (Previous IT DR SME Experience Required)


• 1-2 years of technology audit experience (having gone through IT Audits before, experience researching and responding to auditor findings related to IT/Information Security)

Required Skills:

• Using MS Office Suite including Microsoft Project


• ITSM Tools (Autotask, ServiceNow, or similar)


• Mimecast Administration Experience

• Proficient with MAC and OS


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Experienced with penetration testing and techniques


• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities


• Understand patch management


• Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts


• Experienced in installing security software and documenting security issues


• Experienced with penetration testing and techniques
