Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop stable and capable manufacturing processes through a structured process development approach.
• Design & Develop tools, fixtures, gauges, and special equipment for manufacturing operations in conjunction with vendors.
• Stencil/Pallet/Fixture design & Ordering.
• Process FMEA Ownership.
• Preparation of all relevant manufacturing specifications.
• Manage cost through the reduction of scrap, reprocessing and consumables.
• Eliminate quality and safety risk in the process through robust engineering solutions.
• Validation of new materials, consumable and process changes.
• Process development, validation to be managed in strict compliance to QMS.
• Maintenance of manufacturing specifications & processes.
• Tracking and reporting of process change implementations.
• Ensure processes are in strict compliance to Product specifications, customer requirements/ expectations.
• Timely closure of audit actions, NCRs and CAPAs.
• Root cause analysis & implementation of robust solutions to fix quality issues arising due to process.
• Contribution to Kaizen and Cost reduction activities.
• Actively interface with cross functional team members.
• Work closely with Customers and cross-functional teams.

Must have:

• Proven experience in Process Engineering activities in EMS environment.
• Good knowledge of IPC standards.

• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
