Job Description

Job Title:

Experience Required:

SMT Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:
Plan, schedule, and execute production to meet delivery and target goals.
Workflow Optimization:
Improve material flow and workflow for better throughput and efficiency.
Quality Control:
Ensure products meet quality standards; take corrective action for defects.
Equipment Management:
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of SMT machines.
Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and motivate the SMT team for continuous improvement.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety regulations.
Cost Management:
Control operational costs and manage resources within budget.
Inventory Management:
Ensure proper inventory of materials and components.
Reporting & Analysis:
Track KPIs and prepare regular reports on production and quality.
New Product Introduction (NPI):
Support smooth transition of new products into production.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of managerial experience in SMT manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and programming.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (preferred).
Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems preferred.
