Sitecore Lead - Sitecore

Job description involves leading Sitecore projects, designing and developing solutions using the platform, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the technical success of projects by overseeing architecture, tasks, and deployments. Key skills include strong Sitecore CMS, Helix, and SXA expertise, proficiency in .NET MVC, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, and experience with DevOps tools and Azure cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Sitecore solutions, often reviewing and approving architecture along with senior architects.

• Development & Implementation:

Create custom Sitecore components, templates, and workflows to meet project requirements.

• Project Management Support:

Break down tasks, estimate effort, create project plans, and assign tasks to the team using tools like Jira.

• Mentoring & Guidance:

Guide and support developers, resolve technical challenges, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

• DevOps & Deployment:

Manage the deployment pipeline (Dev, UAT, Production) using tools like Azure DevOps and ensure smooth deployments.

• Code Management:

Oversee code branching, merging, and pull requests within version control systems like Git.

• Technical Collaboration:

Work with project managers and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality are met.

• Sitecore Platform Expertise:

Leverage knowledge of Sitecore features, personalization, and the broader Sitecore ecosystem, including Sitecore Cloud.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Sitecore Expertise:

  Hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS, Helix, and SXA.

• .NET & MVC:

  Strong .NET framework and MVC 5 skills.

• Web Technologies:

  Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for front-end development.

• DevOps Tools:

  Experience with tools like Jenkins, Octopus, TDS, Unicorn, and Azure DevOps.

• Cloud & Containers:

  Knowledge of Azure PaaS and Sitecore Cloud, as well as Docker.

• Agile Methodologies:

  Familiarity with Agile practices for iterative development.

• Communication:

  Strong communication skills for clear collaboration across teams.
