Role Overview: As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing fire safety engineering projects and supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire safety systems. Your expertise in fire protection systems and regulatory standards will be crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of the systems. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire safety systems such as alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers. - Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulatory standards such as NFPA and local fire safety standards. - Review plans and schematics using fire safety design software like AutoCAD and Revit. - Lead and motivate a diverse team to effectively manage fire safety engineering projects. - Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders. - Make decisions under pressure and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety in all projects.
