Job Description

Maintain site store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials. Verify materials received as per Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices. Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and safe storage of materials to avoid damage or loss. Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and contractors against approved requisitions. Maintain daily stock registers (inward, outward, balance) both physically and in Excel/software. Monitor material consumption and report shortages, excess, or slow-moving items. Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and site teams for material planning and reconciliation. Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies. Maintain records for returnable and non-returnable materials. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and site procedures. Assist in site audits and handover documentation related to store inventory.
