Job Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Viraaj HR Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and availability of critical applications and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring the performance and availability of critical applications and services. - Implementing and managing infrastructure as code to promote efficiency. - Developing automation scripts to streamline operational processes. - Conducting regular capacity planning and performance analysis. - Responding to incidents and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner. - Collaborating with development teams for continuous integration and deployment practices. - Establishing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions. - Participating in on-call duty rotations to ensure high availability. - Building and managing load balancing and failover solutions. - Conducting root cause analysis for production incidents. - Documenting solutions and creating knowledge base articles. - Evaluating and recommending tools and technologies for improving reliability. - Working with security teams to ensure infrastructure security compliance. - Engaging in performance testing and tuning of applications. - Providing training and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios). - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby). - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with incident management and resolution. - Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices. - Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization. - Willingness to participate in on-call support as needed. - Continuous learning mindset with a passion for technology.,
