About the Role

SRE Observability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain
unified dashboards
to track overall health of applications and production systems.
Monitor applications using
AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, or similar APM/observability tools
.
Identify automation opportunities and implement
self-healing workflows
using Python or Java.
Integrate logs and alerts with
ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
for incident management.
Participate in
production support
, incident management, root cause analysis, and SLA management.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to improve system reliability.

Key Skills

Mandatory:

AppDynamics / Dynatrace or similar APM tools
Python or Java scripting for automation/self-healing
Monitoring dashboards (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus)
Production support experience (L2/L3)
ITSM / ServiceNow integration

Additional / Nice to Have:

AWS / GCP cloud experience
Kubernetes / Docker / CI-CD exposure
Linux/Unix administration skills
Root cause analysis and incident management experience

Qualifications

B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
8-12 years of experience in
SRE, Production Support, Observability, or Platform Engineering
