Site Reliability Engineer (SRE - Azure/GCP)

Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions, frameworks, and automations.
• Build automation tools and CI/CD workflows to enhance system reliability and reduce manual tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and DevOps best practices within the engineering team.

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure (cloud or on-premises).
• Optimize system performance and reliability across distributed environments.
• Work with at least one major cloud provider (

  Azure

  required, GCP optional).

Incident & Problem Management

• Lead incident response efforts, diagnose and resolve critical issues quickly.
• Participate in on-call rotations and create detailed

  runbooks

  for incident handling.
• Collaborate with operations and incident management teams to improve resilience.

Observability & Monitoring

• Implement observability solutions for applications and infrastructure using tools such as

  Splunk, Grafana, or similar

  .
• Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks based on

  SLI/SLOs

  .
• Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks and issues.

Performance, Security & Compliance

• Analyze performance metrics and implement optimizations for availability and efficiency.
• Ensure systems are compliant with security and regulatory standards.
• Work with security teams to conduct assessments and implement controls.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design reliable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and shared knowledge.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  or other scripting/programming languages.
• Hands-on experience in building CI/CD workflows (preferably

  GitHub Actions

  ).
• Proficiency in

  observability tools

  (Splunk, Grafana, etc.).
• Strong understanding of

  Agile development methodologies

  .
• Familiarity with version control systems (

  Git

  ).
• Good problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in collaborative teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Cloud Certification in Microsoft Azure (Mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  GCP

  or multi-cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of

  DevOps/SRE best practices
