Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Should have hands on experience in Preparation of Field Quality Assurance Plan, Check Sheet, SOP, Work Instructions etc.
Hands on experience of Industrial component like- Pressure vessel, Tanks, piping fabrication, General structural Fabrication, site erecting & inspection activity, etc.
NDT Level-II
certified (RT/UT/PT/MT). Co-ordinate & witness NDT as per inspection requirement.
Sound knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, SAW) and drawing interpretation.
Ensure welder qualifications and WPS/PQR compliance for site work.
Good Knowledge of relevant codes & Standards, etc.
Independently Perform activity of Material inspection as per drawing/ standard requirements at site.
Handling of End customer/ TPI inspection.
Inspection Documents submission to customer/ inter-division.
Should be familiar with Site QC activity, Vendor Assessments & audits.
Familiar with Statistical Process Control & QC Tools (RCA & QC Tools etc. ), Process Improvement.
Proficient in
ERP systems
and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Awareness of IMS/ ISO standard, processes, procedures, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Maintain & update Site QA process audit system & schedules.
Conduct Process Audits to ensure standardization & compliance.
Identify & implement process improvement opportunities and work with relevant stakeholders.
Willingness to travel for Site QC activity.
Good Communication Skills, Analytical in thought process, Self driven, Focusing Continuous Improvement approach, Customer Centric etc.
