Job Description

  • Lead all on-site IT applications and services

    for the Sanand facility, encompassing planning, implementation, and support of IT systems and physical infrastructure.
  • Manage IT operations

    for PDC, NSC, Customer Relationship Center (CRC), and Chennai plant.
  • Supervise IT teams

    including GSR, agency, and purchased service resources, with a matrixed reporting structure to the ISIT IMG General Manager and dotted line to the Plant Manager.
  • Oversee all IT services at the site

    , including data centers, network equipment, servers, PCs, mobile devices, and various applications.
  • Support major business and IT initiatives

    , such as new model launches, infrastructure upgrades, and IIoT implementations.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget

    , ensuring cost-effective solutions and compliance with security regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships

    with cross-functional plant teams and act as a liaison between site operations and corporate IT.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of IT work experience

    , preferably in a complex manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in

    ITIL/ITSM

    (Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, and Availability Management).
  • Understanding of

    network topology

    , device management, and plant networks (OA, MPN, CPN).
  • Experience with

    project management tools

    and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Cloud (GCP) / Server / Network Certifications.
  • Experience with

    IT infrastructure and applications

    in a manufacturing setting.
  • Previous

    Plant IT Manager

    or manufacturing operations experience.
  • Experience collaborating with non-IT functions (manufacturing, HR, finance, etc.).
