CN Configuration Advisor

The SCCM Engineer (L2) will be responsible for managing and delivering Windows-based services using Microsoft SCCM. The individual will handle patch deployments, application deployments, system administration, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring, ensuring SLA compliance and minimal customer impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day SCCM operations including OS checks, required services checks, events, application deployment, patch deployment, OS deployment, and monitoring.
• Deploy and manage enterprise-level security patches and applications using SCCM and related tools.
• Troubleshoot deployment queues, performance issues, and technical escalations (L2/L3) on SCCM.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement service improvement plans.
• Install, configure, and administer SCCM servers and services, including hardware, peripherals, directories, storage, and related Windows components.
• Monitor and report on SCCM infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and compliance.
• Generate and publish weekly and monthly reports for inventory, application deployment, patch management, and overall SCCM operations.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve SCCM service efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful deployment and incident resolution.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in System Administration with hands-on SCCM expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SCCM: deployment, installation, expansion, management, monitoring, and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows platforms: 2003/2008/2012/2016 operating systems.
• Experience in enterprise-level patch management using SCCM, WSUS, or similar tools.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for SCCM deployments and performance issues.
• Ability to handle incidents and problems independently, suggest improvements, and implement solutions.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and handling technical escalations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
