Site Incharge

The MEP Site In-Charge is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and supervision of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at the assigned infrastructure site. Acting as the senior most

MEP representative on-site, the Site In-Charge ensures that work is executed in accordance with

design specifications, quality standards, timelines, safety protocols, and budget constraints. The position requires effective leadership and management of a team of MEP engineers, subcontractors, and coordination with the Regional Project Manager and other discipline leads.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Supervision

Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems in accordance with cleanroom design and specifications.

Ensure implementation of validated cleanroom protocols including pressurization, airflow, filtration, and contamination control.

Monitor daily site activities, resolve execution issues, and ensure adherence to project schedules.

2. Project Execution

Ensure all work is carried out as per approved IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, project

Oversee day-to-day MEP site operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, Coordinate closely with the civil, structural, and architectural teams for site integration.

3.Planning and Coordination

Ensure that materials, equipment, and manpower are available on-site as per schedule.

Interface with consultants, clients, and government authorities for inspections, approvals, and Participate in site meetings and provide updates on MEP progress, risks, and corrective actions.

4.Quality Assurance and Control

Implement and enforce quality control procedures and ensure compliance with ITPs and QA/QC

Conduct periodic inspections of ongoing works and completed installations.Ensure corrective actions are taken for non-conformances or defects.

Ensure the timely preparation and submission of redline drawings and as-built documentation

5.Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Promote and enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and site safety rules.

Ensure toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings are conducted regularly.

Report any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the HSE Manager and Regional PM.

Ensure use of PPE and safety signage across the site.

Documentation and Reporting

Review and approve daily and weekly site reports submitted by MEP engineers. Maintain documentation related to progress, inspections, material deliveries, and manpower logs. Submit comprehensive site reports to the Regional Project Manager including KPIs, resource

utilization, and look-ahead schedules
