Job Description

Basic Function:

a) Planning, organizing, directing, and running day-to-day activities till completion of the Project and subsequently day to day operations to meet laid down targets.

b) Optimizing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

c) Accountability for overall manufacturing organization, manufacturing support, process improvement, safety, and quality.

d) Administrative responsibilities of the Plant.

e) Maintain close liaison with the client and Boiler Supplier.

f) Ensure strict implementation of EHS Protocols.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):

a) Collect and correlate the production reports from the shift engineers and report it to the Plant Manager.

b) Ensure that manpower is adhering to the safety guidelines and wearing their PPEs (Personal Protective Equipments) all the time inside the plant.

c) Ensure that manpower is adhering to the safety guidelines and wearing their PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment’s) all the time inside the plant.

d) Responsible for the Boilers Act compliance.

e) Responsible for the delivery of the prescribed steam units to the customer.

f) Responsible for the safe and optimal utilization of the boilers in the plant.

g) To conduct internal review meetings daily with the plant staff and report it to the Plant Manager.

h) To make sure that boilers are compliant with the Indian Boilers Act.

i) To make sure that sufficient water is available for the boiler steam generator.

j) To make sure that the preventive maintenance of the boiler is carried out as per schedule.

k) To make the daily plan for steam production and maintenance from the monthly plan and report it to the Plant Manager.

l) Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations.

m) Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

n) Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information and data security, people management, HR, and other delivery.

o) Be responsible for production output.

p) Allocate resources effectively.

q) Prepare budgets.

r) Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees.

s) Communicate with employees about performance expectations.

t) Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices, and technology.

u) Maintain cordial relations with the client.

v) Ensure timely inspections and renewals of all certifications and compliances.

w) Give Daily Feedback to all concerned appointments including on PRESPL Operations WhatsApp Group

x) Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives, and business plans of the Company

y) Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Project Sites in consultation with Sites in Charge and as per Company Policy.

z) Any task assigned by COO / CEO/ CMD.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

a) Successful & timely completion of commissioning.

b) Boiler efficiency achieved vs. guaranteed values.

c) Uninterrupted boiler operation with minimum downtime.

d) Statutory compliance (zero violations).

e) Fuel consumption per MT of steam generated.

f) Maintenance adherence & safety compliance.
