Site Engineer

As a Solar Rooftop PV Site Engineer at Vyomaa Energy in Belgaum, Karnataka, you will be responsible for managing the construction, installation, commissioning, and O&M of rooftop solar projects. This role requires hands-on execution, on-site supervision, and frequent travel to project locations across Belgaum, Karnataka. Immediate joiners are preferred for this full-time position. Your role will involve overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of solar rooftop systems, as well as managing operation & maintenance (O&M) to ensure system efficiency and uptime. You will be responsible for conducting site surveys, feasibility assessments, and project planning, as well as designing & drafting site layouts, panel placements, and electrical connections. Additionally, you will lead on-site installation teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications & safety standards, and track inventory & materials to ensure smooth execution without delays. In this position, you will also be required to travel to project sites across Karnataka to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues. You will prepare technical reports & client updates on project status and performance. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in solar rooftop installation, commissioning & O&M, strong English & Kannada communication skills (Marathi, Hindi is a plus), and the ability to work independently, manage teams, and travel as required. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy is preferred, along with proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp 3D. Hands-on experience, internships, or previous involvement in solar projects will be advantageous.
