Job Description

Self-motivated and interested in working with a team of engineering professionals to provide high quality technical service for a wide variety of project types
The ability to work on timely and cost budgets
Proposal and report preparation regarding project progress
Supervision of all ongoing construction activity
Review civil / structural / architectural / mep construction submittals, including drawings, shop drawings, material test reports, test procedures, test plans, commissioning plans / procedures, and any other related documentation
Participate in progress meetings to monitor the Contractors construction, quality control, testing, and safety certification of the civil / structural / architectural
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior members and team
Coordinate with contractors and other department to resolve issues that arise during project execution
Develop plans for new engineering initiatives, including investigating new technologies
Actively participate in professional activities, such as meetings and conferences
Analyze and resolve engineering problems and demonstrate effective skills in oral and written communication
Manage a team of engineers, including reviewing specifications and bidding documents, scheduling ,appointments, and providing engineering advice and support
Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve issues that arise during project execution
Conduct technical reviews of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project team members and other department and project consultants
Discussions with support engineers and designers regularly on scope, man-hours and schedule
Plan, monitor and supervise work of other engineers
Prepare technical progress reports, tender documents, bill of quantities, reviews vendor/third party documents
Billing and quantity certification of contractors
Work out the quantities of material of all activity.
