Site Engineer/ Service Engineer Solar

Weare seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer / Service Engineer tooversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting ofsolar power projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technicalbackground in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, a thoroughunderstanding of solar PV systems, and excellent problem-solving skills. Thisrole requires hands-on involvement at project sites, ensuring qualityworkmanship, adherence to safety standards, and efficient project execution. KeyResponsibilities: Site Assessment and Preparation: Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and identify potential challenges for solar installations. Coordinate with the design team to ensure site suitability and alignment with project specifications. Oversee site preparation activities, including layout marking, civil work coordination, and ensuring site access. Installation and Commissioning: Supervise the installation of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cabling, and other system components according to design specifications and quality standards. Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations and best practices during installation. Perform quality checks at each stage of installation to ensure compliance. Conduct testing and commissioning of completed solar power systems, including performance verification and grid synchronization. Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in solar PV systems (electrical, mechanical, and communication). Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components efficiently and effectively. Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults identified, and solutions implemented. Project Coordination and Management: Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control procedures on site. Prepare regular site reports and updates for project management. Manage site materials and resources effectively. Customer Service and Training: Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients. Conduct basic training for clients on the operation and maintenance of their solar systems. Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant industry standards, local regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate documentation related to site surveys, installations, commissioning, maintenance, and service activities. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 3 \u2013 10 years of experience with Module and Cell manufacturers and PLC Experience is must. Strong understanding of solar PV system design, components, and installation best practices. Familiarity with relevant Indian standards and regulations for solar installations. Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, testing equipment, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems. Knowledge of inverter technologies, monitoring systems, and grid connectivity requirements.
