Site Engineer

Position: Apprenticeship – Site Engineer

Location: Ernakulam

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Site Engineer Apprentice to support our civil engineering teams on government-funded projects. The ideal candidate will have foundational training (ITI/Diploma/BE Civil) and 1–2 years of field experience, particularly on public-sector works. You’ll work under the guidance of senior engineers to gain practical exposure to site operations, contract compliance, and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting out and surveying site works according to approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and on-site labor for material delivery and work execution
• Conduct routine inspections and record site progress, preparing daily/weekly progress reports
• Support quantity measurement, bill-of-quantities (BOQ) verification, and measurement book (MB) entries
• Help resolve on-site technical issues and liaise with design teams to implement revisions
• Ensure compliance with government contract terms and statutory requirements (e.g., labour laws, environmental norms)
• Maintain site documentation: drawings, permits, inspection reports, RFI logs, and as-built records
