Site Engineer

We are looking for Site Supervisor/ Site Engineer for our Real estate company located in Jalandhar, Punjab. Candidate must have experience of 2-5 years in any commercial, residential or any township project.

Candidate from local Jalandhar or anywhere from Punjab will be preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all construction activities (structure, brickwork, plaster, waterproofing, finishing, external development) as per drawings and method statements.

• Check and interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings; highlight discrepancies and get clarifications from project manager/consultants.

• Plan daily/weekly work schedules, allocate work to contractors and workers, and ensure progress as per the master project schedule.

• Ensure quality control for materials and workmanship through proper inspection, testing, and adherence to IS codes and company standards.

• Conduct site measurements, prepare and verify RA bills of contractors, and assist in quantity takeoff and material reconciliation.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives for smooth site execution.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety norms, housekeeping, and statutory requirements at the construction site.

• Maintain site documentation: daily progress reports, labour reports, concrete pour records, cube test records, material receipt/issue, and site correspondence.

• Participate in inspections for quality and approvals (RCC stages, blockwork, finishes) with consultants and management.

• Support project manager in tracking timelines, highlighting risks/delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.

• Ensure site execution according to approved drawings and specifications.
  
• Oversee civil construction activities on-site, including labour control and contractor billing.
  
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders for smooth project progress.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  
• Manage site planning, scheduling, and budgeting to meet project deadlines.
  

Required qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute or university.

• Experience:
• For Engineer: 25 years of site execution experience in building construction (preferably residential / group housing / commercial real estate).
• Strong knowledge of building construction processes, finishing works, and relevant Indian standards (IS codes, CPWD/State PWD practices).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic project tracking tools; familiarity with quantity estimation and billing.

• Understanding of safety practices and site management in line with statutory and company requirements.
