Site Engineer

As a Construction Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to supervise construction activities at the site on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. You will be tasked with overseeing quality control measures to verify that materials and workmanship meet the required standards by conducting inspections and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Health and safety will be a top priority in this role, as you will be required to implement safety measures to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations at the construction site. Additionally, you will provide technical support to workers and contractors, offering guidance on construction methods, interpreting drawings, and advising on material usage. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate project activities. Your role will involve ensuring a smooth workflow, timely delivery of materials, and proper execution of tasks to meet project deadlines successfully. Documentation and reporting are essential aspects of this role, where you will be responsible for maintaining records of progress, material usage, labor, and daily activities. You will also be required to report on the project's status and any challenges encountered during the construction process. Budget and cost management will also fall under your purview, where you will monitor costs to ensure that the project stays within budget. This will involve tracking material procurement and labor costs to maintain cost-effectiveness throughout the construction project. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and morning shift availability. The willingness to travel up to 25% is preferred, as the work location will be on-site.
