Job Title: Job Title: Site Engineer – Construction Department: Construction / Project Management Location: Indira Medical College Hospital, Tiruvallur (Near Chennai) Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to oversee daily construction site activities and ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in site supervision, technical understanding of civil/construction works, and the ability to coordinate with various teams on-site. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor day-to-day site construction activities to ensure project progress. Interpret construction drawings and specifications and ensure implementation on site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards on the site. Maintain site records including work progress, material inventory, and daily logs. Assist the Project Manager in planning schedules and managing resources. Conduct site inspections and resolve any on-site technical issues promptly. Support in measurements and preparation of bills and reports for client/management. Ensure that all works are carried out as per project specifications and timelines. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. 3–5 years of relevant site experience in the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and techniques.
