Site EHS Manager

Could you be the full-time Site EHS Lead in Kolkata we're looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your environmental, health, and safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dedicated and proactive teammates.

You'll ensure a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, while minimizing environmental impacts. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Site Managers, Department Managers, Alstom Management Team), support the Site EHS Manager in risk assessments, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of developing the Site EHS Management System, but also assist in ensuring EHS compliance and fostering an EHS culture on site.

Well look to you for:

• Supporting the Site EHS manager on EHS topics
• Cooperating with internal resources to achieve EHS objectives
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of emergency plans
• Providing support and advice to prevent injury and environmental pollution
• Developing and deploying local EHS procedures and tools
• Ensuring site activities comply with EHS plans and guidelines

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)
• Experience or understanding of EHS in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
• Familiarity with local legal EHS requirements
• A Health & Safety qualification recognized by the West Bengal State Technical Board
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills
• Effective communication and analytical skills
