Job Description

You should have a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in DISCRETE MANUFACTURING EVENT SIMULATION. Proficiency in using Simulation Software such as FlexSim is required. You should possess a good understanding of various Industrial Engineering concepts including Time Study, Line Balancing, NVA, Bottle Neck, and VSM. Your responsibilities will include working independently on projects related to productivity improvement, plant efficiency enhancement, and time optimization. You should be able to interpret AutoCAD Factory Layout drawings and support factories in utilizing Simulation, Optimization, and Data Analysis Models for decision-making processes. As part of your role, you will be expected to develop reliable Simulation, Optimization, and Data Analysis models and animations, providing recommendations to Unit Management based on the results generated. You must be able to translate factory problem statements into logical Simulation and Optimization Models. The required skill sets for this position include proficiency in Simulation and Optimization Software such as FlexSim, Plant Simulation, or AnyLogic, as well as CAD Software like AutoCAD or Factory CAD. Non-technical skills such as Presentation Skills, Critical Thinking, and Communication Skills are also essential. Additional skill sets that would be advantageous for this role include knowledge of Data Tools like Python or Power BI, along with basic coding skills.,
