Simulation Engineer-CFD

As a Simulation Design Engineer specializing in CFD and Combustion, your role will involve utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality simulations for various projects. You should have a deep understanding of gas dynamics, shock interactions, and aerodynamics. Your responsibilities will include: - Being a solution specialist in Computational Fluid Dynamics using tools like ANSYS FLUENT, Chemkin & Star CCM+, ANSYS CFX. - Demonstrating knowledge of Combustion Modeling, gas dynamics, shock interactions, and external aerodynamics. - Having basic knowledge of MATLAB for post-processing. Preferred skills and knowledge include: - Fluent dynamic and over set meshing. - Fluent 6DOF UDFs and external Aero best practices. - Understanding of pressure-based and density-based solvers applicability. - Experience with low subsonic to hyper-sonic flows, adaptive meshing, job submission on cluster, TUI journal utilization, and parameterization through space claim and fluent. Qualifications required for this role are: - 1-2 years of relevant experience. - Ph.D. in Combustion modeling for Chemical/Aerospace Engineers. - Proficiency in ANSYS FLUENT/ STAR CCM+ or other commercial CFD software. - Strong background in Combustion, CFD, Aerodynamics, AeroThermodynamics, Scram-jet Engine CFD Modeling, Propulsion, and Liquid Propellant Rocket Engine Physics. - An engaging personality, engineering curiosity, and willingness for continuous learning. - Ability to work with a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and follow-up skills.
