Designation: Simulation Engineer"-CFD We are seeking a highly skilled andexperienced Simulation Design Engineer with a minimum of 1-2 years of expertisein CFD and Combustion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding ofgas dynamics and shock interactions, aerodynamics, and possess excellentproblem-solving skills to deliver high-quality simulations for variousprojects. Function as a solution specialist in Computational FluidDynamics using simulation tools such as ANSYS FLUENT, Chemkin StarCCM+, ANSYS CFX. Mandatoryskillset / experience / knowledge: o Knowledge of Combustion Modeling mandatory o Strong fundamentals in CFD with AnsysChemkin knowledge - Preferred o Chemical (Preferred) (or) Aerospace (or)Mechanical with strong knowledge of Combustion physics o Knowledge of gas dynamics and shockinteractions - mandatory o Knowledge of external aerodynamics mandatory o Basic knowledge of MATLAB forpost-processing The belowskills/knowledge would be preferred: o Fluent dynamic and over set meshing o Fluent 6DOF UDFs o Fluent external Aero best practices o Pressure based and density-basedsolver applicability along with pros cons. o Low subsonic to hyper-sonic flows. Mostof the work is in 0.9 to 5 Mach o Adaptive meshing o Job submission on cluster (Pbs scripts)RSM o TUI journal utilization for automationof work o Parameterization through space claim andfluent for simultaneous design point runs. Requirements o 1-2 Years of relevant experience. o Chemical/Aerospace Engineer having Ph.D.In Combustion modelling. o Experience with ANSYS FLUENT/ STAR CCM+or other commercial CFD software. o Sound background in Combustion,Computational Fluid Dynamics [CFD], Aerodynamics, AeroThermodynamics,Scram-jet Engine CFD Modeling, Propulsion, Liquid Propellant Rocket EnginePhysics. o Engaging personality, engineeringcuriosity and willingness for continuous learning. o Possesses a sense of urgency, strongorganizational and follow up skills.
