As an aerodynamic turbine designer, your role is pivotal in designing and optimizing turbine airfoils and diffusors to enhance turbine performance. Your responsibilities include designing and analyzing new components/airfoils, upgrading existing components, predicting component performance under varying conditions, providing customer support, and addressing non-conformance reports from manufacturing. You will utilize a range of tools and methods such as 1D, 2D, and 3D approaches to make informed decisions and find solutions for complex design tasks. Knowledge of Aeroelasticity/Aeromechanics, Heat Transfer, and structural integrity field is beneficial. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Aerodynamics design & analysis of axial turbomachinery is required. Proficiency in CFD codes, meshing tools, optimization tools, CAD software, programming skills, and familiarity with FE codes and general-purpose FEA tools is expected. Experience in providing technical support to other functional areas, machine learning, SAP, and Teamcenter PLM is advantageous. As a Vehicle Thermal Management and EV CFD Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing 1D/3D CFD models for battery and e-axle flow/thermal management, cooling systems, and subsystems. Your role will involve applying basic loading and boundary conditions for analysis, performing post-processing, result analysis, discussions with designers, and detailed report preparation. You will also interact with design and testing teams to execute CFD analysis of EV components and suggest countermeasures. To qualify for this position, you must have a B.E./B.Tech degree, with an M.E./M.Tech degree being desirable. You should have a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years of experience, with an age limit between 24 and 26 years. Technical competency requirements include hands-on experience with tools such as Star CCM+, Particle Works, and GT-Suite, as well as a basic understanding of CFD methods and processes. Additionally, knowledge of EV vehicle systems, cooling, HVAC systems, and subsystems is essential.
