Adhere to safety norms like ISO 13849, IEC 61508, etc. Process Improvement & Upgrades Identify automation opportunities to improve cycle time, accuracy, or energy efficiency. Evaluate and implement PLC upgrades or migrations (e.g., S7-300 to S7-1500). Analyze machine downtime and propose corrective actions. SCADA/HMI Integration Oversee development or modification of HMI/SCADA screens (WinCC, TIA Portal). Monitor data logging, alarms, and historical trends. Reporting & Analytics Generate regular reports on machine performance, downtime causes, and PLC error logs. Present findings and suggestions to senior management.
