job Summary:
The Showroom Sales Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day sales activities of the showroom. This includes assisting customers, understanding their needs, providing detailed product information, and guiding them through the purchasing process. The role also involves maintaining showroom displays, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet and engage customers entering the showroom, offering assistance and addressing their inquiries.
- Understand customer needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Guide customers through the product selection and purchase process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Sales and Upselling:
- Present and explain product features, specifications, pricing, and benefits to customers.
- Drive sales by persuading customers and encouraging the purchase of additional items or upgrades.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services available in the showroom.
- Stay updated on new product arrivals, promotional offers, and industry trends to effectively assist customers.
- Provide technical information and usage advice when needed.
- Showroom Maintenance:
- Ensure that all product displays are appealing, clean, and up-to-date.
- Arrange the products and ensure the showroom is well-organized to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to replenish items when necessary.
- Customer Service:
- Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, seeking solutions and escalating to management when needed.
- Offer after-sales support to ensure customers are satisfied with their purchase.
- Follow up with customers post-visit to nurture ongoing relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales records, report daily sales activities, and assist in preparing sales forecasts.
- Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to share best practices and ensure a unified approach to customer service.
- Assist with in-store promotions, marketing events, and product launches.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, but not always required).
- Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, showroom sales, or customer service is beneficial.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products effectively.
- Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers professionally and politely.
- Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and retain detailed information about the products.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Appearance: Well-groomed and professional appearance to represent the company in the showroom.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed by the business.
