Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to lead our retail showroom operations at JAC Interior Store, Calicut specializing in Furniture and Wooden Raw Materials (MDF, HDF, WPC, Prehung Doors, Cement Boards, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing daily operations, staff, and inventory efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Achieve showroom sales targets (B2C and B2B).
  • Provide personalized consultation to walk-in customers including homeowners, carpenters, architects, and contractors.
  • Upsell combo offers and cross-sell wooden materials with furniture.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and build lasting client relationships.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales and support team.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Conduct daily briefings and weekly reviews.

3. Store Operations

  • Oversee daily floor operations including VM (Visual Merchandising), cleanliness, and product displays.
  • Coordinate with warehouse for stock availability and timely delivery.
  • Ensure timely billing, quotations, and customer follow-ups.

4. Inventory & Vendor Coordination

  • Monitor inventory levels of furniture and wood materials.
  • Collaborate with purchase and logistics teams for restocking and dispatch.
  • Liaise with local carpenters, interior firms, and OEMs for bulk orders.

5. Promotional Activities

  • Implement showroom-level marketing activities, especially during campaigns (e.g., Chingam Offer).
  • Collect customer data for CRM/WhatsApp engagement.
  • Conduct demo sessions and loyalty programs for trade partners.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Interior Design, or any relevant field.
  • 3–6 years experience in furniture or building material showroom management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in Malayalam and English.
  • Working knowledge of CRM, billing software, MS Office.
  • Excellent people skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Knowledge of wood types, finishes, and interior trends preferred.
