Shopify Developer-Team Lead (Experience: 5+Years) About As an Experienced Shopify Developer at WAC, you will play a crucial role in leading the shopify team and developing and maintaining our Shopify-based e-commerce platform. Your expertise will help us enhance user experience, optimize performance, and implement new features to drive conversion and revenue growth. Responsibilities Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. Customize and modify existing Shopify themes to align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience. Develop custom Shopify themes, templates, and components based on project requirements. Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and responsive design across different devices. Integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend Shopify's functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, payment gateways, and other e-commerce components. Stay updated with the latest Shopify trends, best practices, and industry standards to suggest improvements and innovations. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency. Improving processes continuously and introducing best practices. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Creating the website architecture. Conducting website performance tests Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on other developers' work. Optimize website performance and functionality Collaborate with designers and content creators to create engaging user experiences Implement best practices for SEO and accessibility Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development, including custom theme development, custom app development using remix, polaris & prisma, app integration, and performance optimization. Proficient in Shopify CLI. Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently on projects. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps principles. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid templating language. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and server architecture (Apache or Nginix). Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus. Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members. Show more Show less
