Shopify Developer (with WordPress Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated

Shopify Developer

with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience working with

Shopify theme development, customization

, and

app integrations

, along with a working knowledge of

WordPress

. You will play a key role in building, customizing, and optimizing eCommerce websites for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop and customize responsive Shopify themes and implement new features as needed.– Modify pre-existing Shopify themes based on client requirements.– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores.– Integrate third-party apps and APIs with Shopify.– Work with Shopify Plus features (if applicable).– Assist in setting up and configuring payment gateways, shipping methods, and taxes.– Maintain and update WordPress websites as required.– Customize WordPress themes and plugins to align with brand and functionality requirements.– Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create seamless user experiences.– Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.– Perform website testing and debugging across multiple browsers and devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

– 2–3 years of professional experience in Shopify development.– Proficient in

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

, and

Liquid

templating language.– Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.– Familiarity with version control tools like Git.– Working knowledge of

WordPress CMS

, including custom themes and plugins.– Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.– Good understanding of SEO principles and best practices.– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with Shopify Plus.– Familiarity with headless CMS or Jamstack architecture.– Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Figma for handling design files.– Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
